Recently, we completed the overflow venue for one of our esteemed customers. This marks the completion of stage three in a multi-stage contract that we are currently undertaking, involving the supply and installation of various components. In a separate venue, we have implemented a massive Taiden conferencing system featuring four PTZ (Pan, Zoom, Tilt) cameras to capture the speakers during delicate discussions.

When a particular speaker activates their microphone, one of the four high-definition cameras will automatically move to focus on that specific chair in the venue. The feed from this camera is then routed to one of three screens in the spill-over/public venue. The primary purpose of this venue is to facilitate public monitoring of Metro Council meetings taking place in the chambers next door. Additionally, a ceiling-mounted sound system has been installed to deliver the audio from the active microphone to the venue.

The fourth stage of the installation will involve integrating this Taiden conferencing system into a Microsoft TEAMS – Video Conferencing Package. The screens will then be routed to display the delegate present in the chambers, the remote delegate, and either a wide shot of the chambers or documents and presentations from local or remote delegates. The options for routing is virtually limitless or rather, limited by the amount of inputs and display devices have.

In this particular venue, we currently have four Taiden HCS-3316 HD PTZ Cameras mounted in the venue's roof, 2 PC/HDMI Inputs - one Local Intel I7 Windows Machine, and a standard full-HD HDMI Input. There is also a stereo, analogue "Record" output, two balanced XLR outputs for video feeds, and six viewing screens. These screens include one large 86" monitor in the venue, two smaller 40" screens for monitors and PC control, and the three in the spill-over venue.

We are definitely looking forward to where this venue is heading and can't wait to see the end result.
